Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of transformational leadership and organisational culture as strategies for strengthening the quality of education at SMP Raudhatul Falah, Depok City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this paper is based on literature review and empirical data from the school. The findings indicate that the school principal plays a central role as an agent of change by applying principles of transformational leadership, such as empowering teachers, establishing a shared vision, and creating a positive learning environment. Organisational culture is built through religious, collaborative, and participatory values, which foster a conducive school environment. Synergy between leadership and organisational culture has been proven to contribute to increased attendance, parent participation, teacher involvement, and the effectiveness of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. These findings reinforce the importance of strengthening leadership capacity and organisational culture to improve the quality of education in community-based private schools.
